You never know some more could be on the way Wink

I like BBC Three's new idents
And I would like too see more new titles in the future. But in my view make them look even better by adding some extra niceness to the logo or make the titles look bigger & the logo smaller.

Well five new idents start tonight Smile

As I've banged on about before - don't designers look at these idents in the real world of SD low-ish bit-rate Freeview, and not just on their monitors in the design studio.

Roll on BBC Three HD!

Love them - except the spoken "three" which just doesn't fit. But the visuals and the music are superb.

The initial one that aired a couple of weeks ago looked okay, but those shown today looked washed out, not bright and vibrant.

Just me that thinks these are the worst idents BBC Choice/Three have ever had? It's the sort of thing I might have expected for an ITV2 rebrand 10 years ago.

I think they look brilliant. The only problem I really have with them is the logo not being in it after the first few seconds. I wish it was a bit clearer in the animation. Especially the first one. But I suppose its not needed all the way through as we will come so associate them with BBC THREE.

One of those in particular has migraine-inducing shades of the old Harlech ident.

Is there a new look for 60 Seconds which was pretty much tied into the previous package?

60 Seconds, no change.

Unless I'm mistaken, 60 Seconds has only had three different looks in its history. The original white and blue look lasted from its launch in 2001 until BBC Choice's closure in 2003, the second lasted from BBC Three's launch until the 2008 pink rebrand, and the current one has stayed in place since the rebrand.

There's a clip of one of the early 60 Seconds bulletins here, when it had quite a big studio for a show in which it only appeared for about 5 seconds on screen! http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/bbcthree/2011/07/60seconds10.shtml

Although in fairness I think that was also used for Liquid News.
