Well, all the other regular idents were being used last night, so I'm taking it as being almost a 'trial' ident - testing the way for HD presentation perhaps (as it would look a darned sight better at a higher res!)
I like the triangular aspect toward the end of the ident.
Why not have the triangle as the BBC Three shape. I think it would sit nicely alongside the other shapes in the BBC channel brands, i.e. the BBC Four boxes and the BBC One circle!
And I would like too see more new titles in the future. But in my view make them look even better by adding some extra niceness to the logo or make the titles look bigger & the logo smaller.
