Well hopefully we’re in for a change.
The balloons only lasted five years, and Rhythm and Movement only four.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

What symbol would they use? If 2 has the curve, what about 1?

And as it was a UK based design agency that created them for a European broadcaster...
Would also tick boxes on showing off by 'interacting' with the changing and different landscapes both rural and urban of the nations that BBC One broadcasts to, but not floats over them like the balloon - and gives One a graphical number logo again after a break of a few years.
Yes, for any new presentation package, I hope it has a numerical logo. The TWO curve and the THREE lines and exclamation mark are easily identifiable now, something that people can instantly associate with BBC ONE would be nice to have.
Don't think the SF1 look above would work, purely as the block looks like one of the pieces for Channel 4's logo and I think it would look confusing or like the BBC were trying to copy Channel 4!

No more circles or red colour schemes. They should go for something different. Completely refresh the presentation and give the channel a new breath of fresh air, not just a stale rehash of what it already has tweaked slightly.

It's hard to see another colour for BBC One to be fair, considering they've sported a red scheme in one form or another since 1997. It would be nice to see something completely new and fresh though.
Well, the balloon was red and orange but apart from that red wasn't really included in any other pres or seen as a prominent colour you would associate with BBC ONE I'd have said, certainly not until 2002 with the box logos.
