Isn't BBC1 dull enough ? Rolling Eyes

Perhaps she'll be a surprise ?

The Six O'Clock News under Jay Hunt was never dull... It was many things, but never that...

She is as dull as ditch water... shame Jane Root didn't get it... she would have got BBC One back in good shape.

I see what you're saying.

I think I should have specified better- dull as in creatively dull, lacking in imaginative ability.

Here's a list of her past commissions to exemplify the point:

Quote:
In drama and entertainment Jay developed the Afternoon Play strand into The Director's Debut – with big name talent like Sarah Parish and Stephen Tompkinson directing for the first time – and developed successful entertainment for BBC Two with key brands like Eggheads, Let Me Entertain You , Identity with Donny Osmond and Something For The Weekend which transformed Sunday morning viewing, delivering a younger audience to BBC Two.

Let Me Entertain You - dull, boring, unkind television
Identity - it's a television programme, not the Starship Enterprise. It's awful.

Those examples may impress you...

but, as I wrote before, perhaps Jay Hunt will be a surprise.

I still maintain she is dull - reckon she will muck around with news bulletins... not the major ones but the summaries etc.
