Just watched a BBC News summary with Darren Jordan and I noticed there was a new screenshot at the beginning and end of the bullitin. You see the presenter and the plasma screen tv showing a shot of the BBC News ident. Also one of the side pannels to the right of the back drop was shaded with purple light. Anyone else notice this?

well the last time they did that, they were installing that red board on the other side of the studio.

I wondered if there was something wrong with the right newsroom backdrop projector as they ended on the main camera with sidebar - the red american flag wall thing was still there as could be seen from a shot during the live interview.

Perhaps this end shot from Camera 2 + side bar explains why Fiona Bruce looked at the wrong camera at the end of the Six yesterday.

I bet that was probably just because they never decide until the last minute whether to include the headlines at the end or not - it depends on time and she might have been expecting them but they were suddenly dropped due to the time factor.

You're probably right Steve. Cheers.
