New BBC multi-channel on-screen menu

At 7pm the BBC aired a new multi-channel on BBC1. It began with "now" across the screen, with the BBC1, BBC4 and R5L logo appearing on the left with the programme names left to them.

It's similar to the old one, except without the old white border and now a completely red background with red boxes flying in the background.

I saw an orange version of that on Thursday (I think). I think the older one was better. I think this one looks more tacky than the older one.

Isn't this red one for christmas? I'm sure it was occumpanied by christmas esque music.

Well, it definitely aired before today, as I saw it before christmas. But can't remember exactly when...
