The Nations tend to do their own thing, these jingles will be a BBC English Regions initiative.

Radio Cornwall is now just.... Non descript. Meh at best.

They've dropped the Kernow Bys Vyken strap and no mention of Isles of Scilly at the top of the hour as before.

Poor effort.

Yes my local station has long had a variety of straps at the top of the hour referencing places and other slogans but there's no room for those now.

Generally I like the package but not the 'and all the music you love' jingle. Music playlist isn't a good selling point of BBC local radio and especially in the current situation that's not why people are tuning into them

Yes, the nations stations are part of BBC Wales/NI/Scotland and not part of local radio.

The 5 nations stations are broader in terms of format, probably much more similar to the UK nationals than local radio, I imagine that this package would be totally wrong for them

The way that these jingles have been introduced has slightly backfired due to Coronavirus, with a lot more sharing of programmes, so you get the new Radio Leeds jingles all day then a programme coming from Sheffield at 7 with the old imagine.

Not the biggest issue at the moment by any means, but with hindsight maybe arranging for all of the stations within a region to launch them at the same time would have been a good idea?

Hereford and Worcester still holding out then.

Apologies for the rather late reply, this thread has moved on a bit but some stations really do hold out. Radio Guernsey didn't take the 2015 Mcasso package until at the earliest late-2017/early-2018, instead keeping the 2009 one.

That's still relatively early compared to some areas - Surrey/Sussex only changed to the 2015 jingles in July 2019, the last areas that did so, so we only had 8 months of them before the Reelworld package arrived at the end of March.

Indeed, and Radio Wales only revamped their station sound to a package by Mcasso last May, so I doubt they'll be changing it anytime soon.

Surely there should be split jingles during shared programming?

Radio Guernsey and Radio Jersey introduce the Reelworld package tomorrow.

Expected this on Radio Jersey but Radio Guernsey tends to be quite independent and holds out on these things, so I'm a bit surprised.
