Is this going to be the new ident for the The Learning Zone?

No, This was mentioned in another topic way back! That's been on there quite some time & quite frankly I haven't got a clue what it actually is for! Rolling Eyes

This is part of the branding for BBC PRIME's overnight Educational service, which is branded BBC LEARNING.

The pic here is actually used as an ident around the Languages section (hence the little speech bubbles). The other idents are Green for Interests (docos like Horizon and Reputations), Blue for Studies (either OU or Schools) and cyan for Business.

There are animated backgrounds for menus and information slides in a similar style.

It did ! They remade the Menu graphices shortly after this look was launched a couple of years ago for that very reason! The OU menu grab here is quite old, but it was the only one I could find on the web - I included it here by way of an example of the different graphics Prime uses overnight.

BBC Learning's Website also has some of the graphics on it as well as programme listings.

There are also occasional business programmes shown on BBC World which are preceeded by these idents in and old-OU kind of style...
