New BBC cross-channel promo

If it's not that new I apologise, but first time I've seen it tonight - and I've not seen it mentioned.


At 8pm on BBC2 there was a new "Now on the BBC" graphic.


Basically the same style as the ECP, but beginning with the BBC logo centred which rotates to "N|O|W" and then the screen is split into four segments with BBC1 top left, BBC2 top right etc. with a programme image in a black box and the channel logo and programme name under it. Hideously the BBC Four logo is in white.

They're still using the white one though mostly aren't they - certainly the only one I recall seeing in recent months.

No, the current one replaced the cartoon monitors when the new ECPs arrived. They used the new menu quite a lot at first but now they seem to prefer using the ECP to show what's coming up across the BBC.

Actually, it was at least a week or two earlier than the matching ECP.
