The last big change to the on-screen graphics, was in 2013, and that coincided with the move to Broadcasting House. So the testing happened off site, with new equipment - whilst N6 and N8 continued on air.

And if people remember, we had a while of News Channel overnights coming from NBH with the new graphics and look, while daytimes came from TVC with the old look.

News Channel overnights did have the new look studios, titles and some of the new graphics (live/recorded bug, etc), but the lower thirds were still the ones from 2008, fed through N6's gallery.

The Andrew Marr Show news bulletin certainly had the new 2013 straps several weeks before the rest of the UK news output.
bkman1990, bilky asko and Ittr gave kudos

Hardtalk jumped the gun too

Hardtalk is in all honesty really a World News programme though, and they were using the new graphics months ahead of the UK. It's only really overnight filler on the news channel.

Time before that was the move from N8 to N6, with the latter closed for several weeks.

We are only 10 days of what would/could be the launch of Reith on BBC News, maybe even earlier. We already have Reith on BBC Sport, BBC Two, BBC Four and whatnot, it's just waiting until BBC One unveils it (and maybe new branding as well, doubt it but BBC Two rebranded with a few days notice, you never know)

BBC One (if it rebrands) will probably wait until the Autumn, and introduce it with a new Autumn schedule or shows it can advertise.

Maybe it will be on the 27th September, just as BBC Two did last year?

Or 'Oneness' will stay forever...

BBC One already uses its own, bespoke font. The argument for Reith is long-term it will save the BBC money by not having to pay for commercial font licences. So, I’m not sure it’ll use Reith at all, unless it’s been stated they will elsewhere?

You can’t very well have the entire Corporation using BBC Reith with the exception of its main channel.

You could, but it would be a shame to break a convention if every other part of the BBC was using a single font.
