Remember when the BBC's logos were all consistent with the BBC logo and the channel's name in Gill Sans next to it? I would love to have that back, with the exception of CBeebies, of course.

Why an exception for CBeebies? Once you have an exception for one brand, every brand will want to be different.

BBC CBeebies doesn't trip off the tongue, I suppose.

Doesn't CBeebies still use the BBC Gill Sans in its DOG? I mean elsewhere in the presentation it probably just uses the bugs and the CBeebies name.

The only Gill Sans they use is in the letters of the BBC logo. The word Cbeebies and all the graphics used in its branding are its own font

No, it's the CBeebies logo as the DOG.

At the end of the final Daily Politics, they showed a short promo for the replacement show in September, Politics Live.

The "politics live" logo/text that appeared at the end, is in BBC Reith Light

I could type that in Word and it would look better.

wouldn't it look the same?

I think BBC Reith Sans looks fine; it's the Serif version which looks a bit "dated"

At least on screen it won't look out of place with the rest of the presentation package....

Or that could just be something made up in an edit suite to slap on the end of a package... Wink

An interesting tweet - seemingly BBC Reith is making it to the regions (going by the responses).
