I'm sure it's been noticed before, but I've not yet seen anything here. BBC News on social media have started using bits of Reith.

I'd say any use of Reith qualifies as a disturbing image.

Was that slide used before they cut to a shot of Cliff Richard's face?

Apologies if this has already been pointed out, but BBC News Cymru is using Reith Serif:

That is gorgeous!

The slow roll out doesn't exactly suggest confidence in it.

Agreed, it looks like Reith is only being implemented in certain browsers:

I'm still partial to Helvetica unfortunately, Reith Serif is just not a pleasing font.

I find it a very ugly font to read. Comparing the BBC's news and sports websites, the news site is far easier on the eye.

It didn't appear for me on Opera Mobile until I changed ny phone's orientation to landscape. It then appeared in both orientations.

It is appearing for me in Chrome on W10. Odd how it doesn't for Chrome on OSX.

Remember when the BBC's logos were all consistent with the BBC logo and the channel's name in Gill Sans next to it? I would love to have that back, with the exception of CBeebies, of course.

Why an exception for CBeebies? Once you have an exception for one brand, every brand will want to be different.
