Can somebody upload an image of it please. I tried to see it on Twitter but no luck. Thanks.

Looks like he's protected his twitter account hence we can't see the tweet any more

If oneness is only for 2017 - is this the beginnings of replacing everything across the BBC including BBC one idents and two etc for that matter

That is what I thought. Does anyone know when it will be unveiled again?

The BBC management police must have been on the phone very quickly. Just shows how much they snoop on here.

Think ITV Reem-ish but obviously a bit different.

Never mind Wimbledon, don't forget that the BBC have the rights to the World Athletics Championships this year and they will be the host broadcaster as it's in London. So I'd be tempted to fancy that to be the potential launch for a new graphics package.

That said, that has a centralised graphics package and everyone uses it (c.f. the World Cup, which also has a centralised package for the world feed, except that can and does get overwritten by local broadcasters). Wimbledon has a full BBC-specific graphics package, of course.

This is great news. I've always been of the belief that Gill Sans looks awkward on screen. The use of Helvetica also looks cheap.

Given that a full-scale change of BBC News is very unlikely, I wonder if we'll see a fairly rapid switch to this new font on the news? Wouldn't have thought that changing the font on straps, for example, is that big a job.

Serifs? In 2017?! May God have mercy on us all.

Clearly you haven't seen the Guardian. Or Sainsbury's.

Aren't the weather forecasts due a new look as well, because of a change of provider?

Wonder if the new look BBC Sport News bulletins will be the first glimpse of this that we see?
Sportsday is rebranding?
