They also put News, Sport, Weather and Music in Reith but left everything else in Gill Sans, despite all of it being listed as going to be in Reith. So why not demonstrate how the other logos would look on that image too?

I also hope that new logos are planned for One, Two and Four. We've had One in that lowercase style for 12 years now, TWO for 11 years and FOUR for 16 years.

Well the caption says Services, so I assume they picked those more well known ones, but intend to change all of them.

They can't fit every single variation onto the slide

Age alone is not a good enough reason for change. The golden arches logo has been used by McDonald's since the '60s – indeed, the BBC blocks are twenty years old.

Personally, I'd like to see some sort of consistency of layout. I like the BBC Three and CBBC logos, I don't mind the BBC Two and Four logos, but these two groups do not resemble each other, and neither is like BBC One's. I do not particularly mind which style is selected, but it would be nice to see them all matching as they have in the past.

Agreed. It also helps when things need to be cross-promoted across the channels. I think we've all lost count of the number of times of the number of disastrous layouts we've seen because each of the channels has a different style.

As the recent France Television rebrand has showed, you can have a consistent design style whilst still giving each channel their own element of personality. Would be trickier with different station 'logos' as such, but it should still be possible if some constraints are kept for each one. (e.g. the BBC logo location within it and the box size and shape for example).
orange, Worzel and Woodpecker gave kudos

You think back to 1997 when Consistency was King - compared to today. Then you look at the recent France rebrand, and just wish the BBC would get their act together...

I'm going to have to disagree with the 'personality' statement. They look rather samey, except a few variants of the promo endboard animations.

TVNZ would be a better example:

The layout of the image preview on here is messing with the illusion.
