So these websites that claim to be to convert the files are telling porkie pies?
No, there are sites that work.
It depends on if there are measures taken on the server side to stop it, or if its Base 64 encoded etc. But again, its not a suitable topic for discussion here on an open forum.
Better is rather a strong word, particularly with the pejorative way you have described the comparison.
To reverse what you have said: "The Oneness theme is better than a bunch of random helicopter shots from round the country with a stupid red and orange balloon milling around for a few seconds."
Does the balloon better-reflect the values of the channel? Is it a stronger brand identity? Does it reach out to the viewer in a better way? Possibly. Does it adequately reflect transgender disabled prejudice? No. How are you going to get a wheelchair into a hot air balloon??
I don't know how much more inclusive you could be than a globe showing the Earth.
It's discriminating against other planets in the solar system, poor old Saturn!

I like that arrangement of BBC Sport and BBC One logos (although a BBC should be added to the "one" if used on its own)
What looks slightly odd to me is the URL, which is positioned to the right when the rest is centralised. I wonder if it would work better if the 'sport/one' box was raised slightly and the URL added below centralised.
They’ve since centralised the URL in line with all of the other presentation elements of the promo.
The ‘
Football is for all of us
’ slogan has become badly stretched as a result.
I wouldn't read too much into that really. It probably means the credit squeeze captions will be converted from Gill Sans to it first, possibly promo captions too. Then again, I might be proven wrong (and usually am!)
Will be interesting to see how BBC News roll over to using it. I thought one of the reasons they moved over to Gill Sans, then Helvetica was because some BBC regions had equipment which was limited in terms of the fonts they could use for on air captions etc so they chose those for consistency. Perhaps things have moved on since then?
Well, they've been using those two fonts for 17 years. I imagine things will have changed in the nearly two decades since the regions started taking a generic package.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/gel Maybe this has been posted before. The new font works well… certainly a lot more readable. Not so sure about the serif version, though.
