Changing the font and the lower thirds won't warrant an announcement, too much is being made of this change I think. In 1999 there were actually trailers for the new look.

On the contrary. They even had trailers for the new look featuring Huw Edwards.

Isn't that what TV Forum is all about...hyping up a forthcoming change so much, that whatever actually appears on screen isn't good enough for those that were expecting so much more?

Going to go out on a limb here and suggest there may still be quite a few remnants of the outgoing look still in use tomorrow. There are loads of trailers, breakfillers etc that I’ll be amazed if they’re all updated at the same time.

For all we know, they might have updated them all already. Wouldn't surprise me if some of the old ones make it on air by accident tomorrow though.

I imagine there will be a few off hand comments by presenters. But nothing like a package or something.
