Yeah very nice, so nice infact they should use the 2, 3, and 4 ones for radio aswell, oh they already do! Anyway 2 and 3 don't fit with what I expect the looks/ target audience to be like, I expect they will keep the current 2's, so that 2 should be used and 3 is too arty for a young channel, i'll mock those changes up in a minute.

Well the three i was thinking could be animated like bbc prime shapes all over the place.
BBC Two will be focused towards 30-50 year olds so some retro would be perfect.
BBC One like radio one's logo but globe incorporated.
BBC four is just right
and other logos are self explanitory.
the symbols would only be used in posters, trailers, and other promotional stuff, the idents would not use the symbol, as the ident's are those symbols animated.

No offence MDTA, but that idea really does look awful!!
I much prefer the current crisp, clean look of the BBC channel names.

Sorry, Jamez, I've got to disagree with you. I think they look brilliant! But, I don't think that mainstream BBC will use it because they've sacrificed them for the UKTV network!

The designs really are great…but I have to agree with Jamez -- I like the 'cleaner crisper' logos of the current BBC channels. I think the little pics could get easily distorted if they were on-screen…
