Does anyone know when the new BBC Business programme begins? I would presume that it won't be until after the election, but has there been a date set?

Will it be a little bit like World Business Report but better?

I've been on holiday this week, and I had BBC World. They've had a change in the BBC News Next Trailer, it is now World News Next instead. Anyway, I was watching BBC World Business Report on there, and they have short updates at around 4/5pm after BBC World News Summaries. They come live from the World studio, with the current World Business presenter during news bulletins. I think they are really good, and News 24 should have them, but this new programme will probably be like this. Will it be corporate, i.e. variation of News 24 titles etc?

On the question on the BBC World News Next trailer, it's always been WORLD NEWS next, except for a few times when it's said BBC NEWS next.

I think BBC News 24 won't do what BBC World do with World Business report unfortunately, simply because BBC News 24 is a rolling news service, whereas BBC World present the news in bulletins, therefore they can do things like World Business Report updates!

I also noticed that they cut into the countdown quite a lot, they cut in at 01 once!!

I like the End Sting they use for 10 min summaries, better than the normal one!

Jane Hill presented BBC World on Friday, and Brian Hanrahan on Monday, which was surprising.

Jane hill occasionally does world news. she used to anchor overnight a few years ago on news 24 and world.

The only change in the next trailer is that now they sometimes announce the presenter.

The BBC Business programme has titles that a a variation on the standard BBC News theme so I presume the studio and so on will also have a corporate feel to it.
