No surprise Prue Leith replaces Mary Berry.

Sandi Toksvig will pretty much present anything, so not too surprising.

The third new name, presumably as host, is Noel Fielding. Did not see that one coming.

I wasn't interested in this, but I will definitely check it out with Noel Fielding hosting.

Love Sandi. Never much liked Noel Fielding though I'm willing to give him a chance. I think Prue will be a very good replacement for Mary. All in all, I think this is a strong presenting lineup and I'm more hopeful than I was about the shows future.

Prue was good on Great British menu, but awful on My Kitchen Rules. So hopefully she'll be OK here.

The problem GBBO have is that Paul, Mary, Mel & Sue had years to build their chemistry on BBC 2 as a small show. C4 don't have this

Is it an older audience? I think it was a pretty broad one given the ratings it gets.

Channel 4 don't want an older audience.

Can't stand Noel. I was thinking of giving it a miss. That has made it a cert now.

Really don't see how Noel would suit this. At all.

Sandi is the presence in the tent whilst the contestants are baking, and Fielding will be providing the voice-overs.

Maybe they meant to hire Yvette, and ended up fielding the wrong Fielding all together?

The show's always had a underlining subtle irony to it. It's like Ch4 completely missed that and decided it needs to be highlighted with a big neon, self congratulatory, "born risky" sign. "Look, it's a baking show and Noel Fielding's presenting it!! CAN YOU BELEIVE THAT!" Another of Channel 4's aging attempts at being "edgy" that just makes people yawn and roll their eyes. Whatever, dad.
