New Announcer?

Have a listen to this video, the voice sounds like she's new, am I right?

I've lost track of ITV1's announcers. Only Sonia Clark is left from the original 2002 team, while the best ones - Graham Rogers and Paul Seed, have been banished to the digital channels.

Same here, there has been soo much reshuffling in ITV when it comes to the announcers, the voice in the video sounds like a cross between Trish Bertram and Jennie Gow.

i noticed the new announcer over the end credits of Corrie on Friday and for a minute i thought it was Trish.

This new announcer is much better than the regular female announcer we get on ITV1

I agree, she's more authorative, let hope we'll find out who it is.

Do you mean the one that calls Coronation Street "Corrie"? She annoys me, she sounds so unprofessional.

Surely if she was unprofessional she wouldn't be there in the first place?
