Monty Python has had a fair few repeats and as mentioned above is on Paramount.

The thing with Monty Python is that the Pythons got the rights to the series from the BBC in 1980. This was because they won a court case against ABC who were re-editing their programmes and they were given complete control over international distribution - like their films through their company.

The BBC have limited rights over the programme in the UK, hence there has only been a limited DVD release of Flying Circus. IIRC this is soon to change as the rights will soon totally pass to the Pythons. Hopefully there'll be a box-set release along the lines of what's avaliable in the US

Strike It Lucky (I think Challenge have only ever shown Strike It Rich)

The 1987-93 series of Strike it Lucky were shown plenty of times when the channel was called Challenge TV.

That's strange - I have watched the channel for years (way before it changed it's name and before it went 24hr) and I don't ever remember seeing it listed.

I've been watching Challenge TV since Summer 1997 and Strike It Lucky was shown in 1998 and I think it might have been shown in 1999 aswell, but Challenge did show them.

Strike It Lucky has been aired on Challenge up until well into their first major relaunch (to brand them as "Challenge?") which took place in 2002 judging by the endcaps of the first "season" of Takeshi's Castle.

I presume SIL has just fallen out of the rotation at the moment much like The Krypton Factor fell out of rotation for quite a few years and it suddenly turned up again in 2003/4 when the Gameshow Gods strand was launched.

The early series of Bad Girls were excellent. Never been reshown on terresitral.

ITV3 started to reshow series 1 at 10pm on a weeknight, then after a couple of episodes moved it to 11:30pm before dropping it completly. Had to spend £49.99 buying the box set as I became hooked on it again and wanted to find out what happened as I couldn't remember.
Maybe that was their plan!
