The UK start of Murder She Wrote was mentioned in another thread. It was first shown on ITV on Sunday, 19 May, 1985, with a feature length first edition from 8pm.
Thank you for that!
it seems the first 18 were networked From 19th May - Aug 17during 1985: the next lot on Firdays at 19.30 went out Jan - may Not networked = 20 episodes.
STV and some others went for 1987 for the S2 on Saturdays Jan - April, 1987 Feb - July. ( it should be noted there jumped all over the place with episodes. ) It seems it never got back to networked until 1989, with s4.
Im confused as to were STV and some other place S2 of Crazy like a fox: was that dumped?
Hardcastle and McCormickis another strange one, does not seem to be pick up by all compaines, yet CHIPS were
This would mean half the "ITV promos" are useless:

Always wondered why they tried a 'network' launch of a US series, they only showed so many episodes networked, then the rest were left to their own devices?
Wasn't 'Buck Rogers In The 25th Century' & 'Battlestar Galatica' initially networked?
I'm pretty sure Buck was as ITV wanted to dent BBC's Dr Who audience of that time!
Was there ever a US series that managed a complete network transmission of all of it's episodes on ITV?
I suspect not.

If I had to put money on it "A-Team" that went out Saturdays around 5.05 or 5.35:, by all the compaines I believe.
expect for 4month period at one of the compaines:
Can you guess? STV broadcast Knight-rider instead , in ealry 1986 ( reason for this: was so Shindig could get broadcast on Friday at 7.30pm IE USA slot in all over companies.)

Just had a thought. 'Baywatch' ? (Not that I watched it on a regular basis. Think the only episode I ever saw was a 'Charlies Angels' rip off!)

SOAP could be the one that was network from 1978.

Well, Sunday 16 November sounds feasable for Episode 56, seeing as Eps 57 and 58 were shown on the following Saturday and Sunday - or perhaps a double episode was shown on November 15.
Were the first two seasons of Falcon Crest fully networked? I think they went out in a Thursday 8pm slot, but from season 3 onwards some regions put it at Sunday 5.30pm (Tyne Tees - fed from Central I believe), and Thames showed season 3 in a weekday afternoon slot.
From season 4 onwards it was shown Tuesdays at 8pm in quite a few regions (Central networked to TTT and I think one other station, and other regions such as UTV showed it at their own pace in this timeslot). YTV placed in at 1.30pm Wednesdays from this point. Gradually I think it ended up in an afternoon slot across most regions, Central - and those who took its feed - moving it to Thursdays 1.30pm from mid season 6.
Seasons 8 and 9 were not shown at all on ITV, as far as I know, possibly due to Sky buying the rights.

21/22 are Friday / Saturday, but I have looked on the Friday 14 and Sunday 16 and there is nothing!
I wonder who it was that "networked" Falcon crest on Thursday around 7.30/8pm? STV and GTV kept in that slot until at least 86... I get the feeling it Granada.
