The end cap on the Channel 5 episodes now have the eleven end cap. About time they changed it, it's been on channel 11 since January!

AAAARRRRGGGHHH! I cannot believe I missed it

But I did see several other bits today and I will have these appear in spoilers for space saving;
Quote:
It has now been confirmed that an extra scene slotted into the episode will feature show regular Kate Ramsay (Ashleigh Brewer) tuning into TV coverage of the ceremony at Charlie's Bar.

The episode it will appear in I think was last week Aus pace so I assume we loose a scene they have in order to keep it the same length.

Good/Bad News, I see it as bad, Rebecca and Lyn leaves Susan with no friends ...
Quote:
Janet, whose final scenes will air in Australia over the summer, first starred in Neighbours between 1999 and 2006. She briefly returned in 2008 for a storyline which saw Lyn enjoy the ultimate revenge on ex-love Paul Robinson, not only exposing his affair with Kirsten but also exchanging her short-lived silence for a slice of his fortune.
In 2009, Janet gave us one of the most memorable comedy scenes in recent Neighbours history when she crashed into Erinsborough to call a halt to Paul and Rebecca's wedding - resulting in a scrag fight with the bride-to-be.

And I see it now, I think it is missing some text to explain, 'for 11' or 'produced for 11' maybe? and the bit of sound it not the same at ten for at least they did not leave it silent!

I wonder whether these episodes although it was confirmed back in August, were still planned for Ten. Ten was even meant to air Neighbours for the first week of this year and dropped it at the last minute. Episodes are made months in advanced probably these were done just before or after christmas and the channel only launched in January and then the decision on what to be placed at the end...

Not watched Neighbours for months now, I do think last time I saw it it was going down the pan.

It is not the same since it left BBC One Crying or Very sad

It doesn't sound good for the replacement of
Lyn, no one. Lyn will take Charlie which would make sense and Summer moving/staying with Susan & Karl. Which is what I would expect and many others speculating.

No new families are expected

So with basically two families leaving, plus Libby and Ben hardly being in the show anymore, how are they going to sustain storylines when half a dozen main characters have gone?

Kym Valentine returns in about 3 weeks time from leave. Blake O'Leary left just after 6000 episode to go to a new school. Although I read somewhere with hints that return could be made in the near future, probably another SORAS

Just watched it online - not a bad episode. Didn't expect a full theme closing credits. Really pleased, shame it is not every Friday.

It aired on 5* without the continuity announcer this afternoon. They've aired those full credits every Friday in Australia for a few years now, and the 20 second version the rest of the week.

When they returned in 2008 the new tune launched I think.

It was July 2007 when they got the current theme. However, it wasn't till 2008 before they only played it on Fridays.
