Once we move to Five we should start airing the full closing theme over here too. I did suspect that now the opening song has been extended to 30 seconds long that they would just use that as a closer song (as opposed to editing a new 35 second arrangement for the last couple of months on the BBC). At 30 seconds I think we're still over credit length guidelines for a 22 minute programme anyway :p

I prefer watching Neighbours on either BBC1 NI/Scotland or Wales because the credits aren't squashed like they are in England.

Me too!! I always sky+ it on BBC One Scotland! I cant stand network always p*s*ing about with the credits!
On scotland, we get clean music at least once a week too!!

All that's missing from that clip are the vocals. I wonder if anyone could extract the actual vocals from the real 2007
theme from Neighbours, and dub them into this cover version? Other than that, it was a pretty good cover version.

Apologies if this is mentioned earlier in the thread, but does anyone know what date the show will switch to Five? Are the BBC completing the 2007 season, then Five starting off with the 2008 season after a short break?
