I think the production team have done well to try and incorperate Melbourne city and suburbs into the titles. If you have been to Melbourne then you can appreciate these titles.
Kind of. The skyline shot is the only real noticeable thing (and even then it's a bit different), but then I suppose suburbia in Australia is a bit different to that in the UK.

They show Melbourne characteristics, it is as if they are trying to use St Kilda and Luna park for their inspiration.
It does look better when watching on TEN, but when it airs here it seem like its been chopped - like with H&A. That said it all seems good. The end credits look ok to.
They don't include them in the package they send to the BBC, they do however sent over a large number of exterior shots for the Beeb to use when needed.
The BBC may get totally different closing credits to those that appeared on Ten last night. There maybe even another version for other international broadcasters such as TV One in New Zealand and RTE in Ireland.
The exterior shots used now are or were used in Oz, but before this week the Neighbours sign would come up over the shot and fade to black, which was better. But when it reaches our screen it will look different, mark my words
Does anyone have any links or caps of the closing credits seen on Ten last night for the 1st 'new' episode, would love to hear the closing theme. I'm really impressed by the new look opening titles. Perfectblend.net has opening credits of the 'Neighbours revealed' progs, the 3rd set of titles looks quite similar in style IMO of the new ones. Have the episode titles been dropped now? I like the way that the last 'old' episode before the revamp was titled "The Night Before the Shredding", seems to be a less-than-subtle hint about things changing, but episode 5261 on Monday doesn't appear to have a title. Do writer/presenter credits still appear in the 1st few shots as we've seen for a good few years now? Hope someone has links to the full episodes on youtube perhaps somewhere. Thanks for any help guys.
