A few answers to some of the questions you may have to scenes from the trailor:-

The person who Susan is crying about near the end is Libby (again!), who returns permanently in September (December for us).
Frazer can walk again
The new characters are Stuart/Ned's extended family. The daughter is possibly a lesbian.
Oliver and Elle are brother/sister (sound familiar?)
Ringo is seriously injured in a car accident - I hear his contract has been renewed so probably doesn't die.
Valda returns on a temporary basis, Tom Kennedy becomes a new guest star.
The character of Pepper Stieger will be given a break from October, possibly to return in late 2008

Yeah, either its deliberate, or it was not meant to be shown until 23rd July, which is when the big launch kicks off.

Its the date it will air in the UK I think.

That Susan one is slightly wrong...

Libby is returning, but Susan is crying in that scene as she is involved in a hit and run, shes knocked someone over

Do you even watch Neighbours? I dont mean to sound funny, but the promo thing clearly points out that all that does not happen next week in the UK. Its for the Australian viewers

I know july 23rd is the date it 'kicks off' in Australia. I was talking about the date in the October, which is the date above the video on that link (which is the date I thought the poster was referring to.

I think the person Susan runs over might be Libby - as part of her re-entry arc... but I am not 100% on that one.

I think the production team have done well to try and incorperate Melbourne city and suburbs into the titles. If you have been to Melbourne then you can appreciate these titles.

I watched this for the first time since Harold rose from the dead. I quite enjoyed it. I've seen that wicked kidnapper woman somewhere before. Might have been cell block H or something.
I might just get into it again. I seem tohave no recollection of who the characters are except Harold.

Yep she was either in Cell Block or that other Aus prison progoramme the name of I have temporarily forgotten (embarassingly enough it might actually be 'Prisoner')!

I think she was in PCBH but had a more regular part in Sons and Daughters.

Its certainly a needed change which should work well with the move to channel Five here in the UK. I agree about the logo - they should keep the colours but change back to brush script.

Great to see that Valda is returning and a return to more comedy moments between Lou and Harold. They have become far too sensible in recent years and its just not acceptable...."jelly belly". Laughing

Quite agree there. Mishka provided some humour, but the good old scouse accent of Joan Sydney will really get things fired up again. I can't believe its 3 years since we last saw her!
