Neighbours Night on BBC3 begins
5 half hour Neighbours Revealed episodes air, they are:

In Everybody Needs Good Neighbours the story of Neighbours is told from the very beginning, how the series came to the UK, and looking at why it became a success.

In The Talent of Ramsay Street , many of the young characters who have featured in the soap come under the spotlight.

Neighbours Rule UK catches up with some familiar faces of the past such as Craig McLachlan and Anne Charleston who have lived and worked in the UK.

Here’s to You Mr Robinson joins character Paul Robinson (played by Stefan Dennis) for a day in his marital life, joining him on set on the day of his fateful marriage to Lyn Scully.

And Life, Death and Neighbours recalls the biggest, the best, the saddest and the most shocking moments of more than 20 years of life on Ramsay Street.

I guess all this was in the can before the contract negotiations finished.

With Neighbours' move to HD for the new look in October (July 23rd in Aus) I wonder if BBC HD will simulcast the programme?

With Neighbours' move to HD . . .

Here's hoping this doesn't also mean it'll also have a needless "filmic" effect, which, from what I've seen, looks really
cr*p in Home & Away. It'd be a waste of time upgrading to HD, if it's going to be ruined with a flickery fake film effect.

Spread the word to Neighbours, Alan and Jackie fans!! Smile

NB: The Neighbours nominated cast are more known to the British TV induestry and the British public than the h&a cast members, so vote for Neighbours to represent the australian TV industry in Britain. Smile

Good luck to Jackie and Alan. Indigo television just sent me an e-mail to confirm that the awards will be live again this year, about time too!

The good news is that this year it will be live, for the last two years it wasn’t due to the champion’s league, but went out as ‘live’ the next day.

Any clues as to what this implies? A Change is coming July 23rd (Aus). Also anyone know what the audio used in this promo is?

The start of the HD episodes and more of a back to basics feel to the show.

Oh good. Last time they were live (2004) Corrie won so lets hope thats a good sign Wink ! Im tempted to vote for Jackie Woodburne in the actress category since the nominations Corrie have put forward are so crap. I like Sue Cleaver but I wouldnt say she is the Best Actress. Best Actor aint much better either - Anthony Cotton again Rolling Eyes
