BREAKING NEWS: The BBC has withdrawn its bid to continue showing Neighbours.

Peter Fincham, controller on BBC1, is on the One O'Clock News now explaining the decision.

Thats it then, Neighbours is to leave BBC TV in April next year.

How do you know Channel 4 haven't bidded? It's just they don't mouth off about it through their 'insiders'. It's clearly a bid by ITV to try and pitch Neighbours against Paul O'Grady so it'd be in C4's best interests to get it.

Its between ITV and Five. I'd prefer it went to Five to be honest.

Its between ITV and Five. I'd prefer it went to Five to be honest.

I really don't see the difference between it going to either ITV or Five. Apart from it being in a different slot on Five.
