Well they seemed to take a 6 week break in Oz during late 1990s/early 2000s so we caught up as we never took it off for that much even with 2 weeks for Xmas and 2 weeks for tennis. Now they dont even seem to take it off for Christmas fortnight in the uk apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

With Home and Away we will soon have the opposite problem - they take a 6 week break in Oz and we will catch up (while when Five started it in 2001 we were over a year behind) so unless Oz reduce their break we will have to take it off for 6 weeks in the uk.

What does everyone think of the new characters who have just arrived? I like the 2 guys, they seem to have interesting storylines. Not sure about the 2 girls yet - they seem annoying.

Nice to have some new faces in Neighbours though.

I dont think the storyline with Frazer is dull. I guess Will is like another Ned really Confused

Sorry if this has been mentioned here before... but when will we see the episodes they filmed in London - have they even been shown in Australia yet? Very Happy

OK, have I missed something??? Neighbours back in the UK??? The last time that happened didn't Harold (and his wife of which I cannot rmemeber her name at this moment in time!!) and a few of the other characters come over. (Wasn't Melanie - the one with the awful laugh one of the characters as well???)

The filmed some very special episodes in London in November 2005 with Karl, Susan and Izzy - there's more info on this at the Neighbours Website

How can you not forget Harold's wife, Madge! Melaine was the one with the awful laugh. There was another trip featuring Rick and Debbie who came to London. They also went to a football ground as well. I can't remember which stadium though.

I remember the time Rick and Debbie came to London - thats going back at least 10 years, probabaly more.

I think we will be about 9 weeks behind with Neighbous once we start seeing the 2007 season. However the BBC will take a break for the tennis in June/July so we will probabaly be 11 ot 12 weeks behind again by the end of the year.

A look in to this year (mostly educated speculation from hints).


Arrow Sky/Dylan/ Stingray die, possibly in a shooting.
Arrow Max makes a return... but perhaps not permenantly... and possibly has a secret family.
Arrow Toadie possibly dies (but could just be seriously wounded) after getting together with steph.
Arrow Robert Robinson is sentenced, but everything might not go to plan...
Arrow Izzy, Karl and Susan meet in London.
Arrow Sky finds someone new
Arrow A resident (possibly Zeke (genetically) or Dylan{from the wasteland}, definately not Steph) battles cancer.
Arrow Another resident will become addicted to gambling (poss Ned)
Arrow Boyd and Janae break up, when Boyd has an affair with Glenn (who he meets in Tasmania whilst trying to locate Max), who then turns up on Ramsay st.)
Arrow Ned goes evil, and possibly goes on some sort of killing spree... (which could be the cause of Toadies possible death and the death of Sky/Dylan/Stingray).
Arrow Janelle has a breakdown
Arrow Rachel and Ringo (Frazers younger brother) get together
Arrow A new family is to be inroduced. The mother will possibly be played by a former Cell Block H actress.
Arrow Gail Robinson will return, possibly permenantly
Arrow Will's possibly gay brother replaces him (ala Stuart and Ned)
Arrow Paul and Pepper embark on a brief affair.
Arrow Rocco possibly returns (he dies later this year, supposedly).

Confused: Amy Robinson turns up as a doctor.
Exclamation Jackie Woodburne and Alan Fletcher are out of contract at the end of 2007
Exclamation Ian Smith's contract expires in 2008, rumour states he will not renew, as he is retiring.

-Lolly Carpenter - Lou's daughter (played by a bad actress, apparantly)
-Ringo Yeats - Frazer's 16 year old brother
-Glenn Forrest - Boyd's Tasmanian fling and friend of Elle
-Oliver Barnes - Will's older brother

Sounds like an action packed year!

Wonder who the Cell Block H actress will be (if its true of course) - Bea Smith or The Freak perhaps? Smile We already have Julie Egbert and Reb Keane in Neighbours!

It would be great to see Gail return on a permanent basis.
