Yeah I think that was the last one using the Grundy End Cap and also there should be a new version of the theme in 2007 with some new titles like every year.

I hope thats the last we've seen of the cartoon style credits, they weren’t
the best set for me.

why are the BBC running straight though xmas this year?

by adding these two weeks how far are we be hide OZ?

Because we are already about 12 weeks behind Oz so we dont need to take such a long break this year. Even with the 4 week break in Oz we will still be 8 weeks behind, and then there is the 2 week break for tennis in the summer.

I was hoping they'd ditch the cartoon style credits. Not too keen on them.

Im surprised that Neighbours is back so soon - has it only taken 3 weeks off this year then?

Neighbours in Australia finished on the 15th December and it returned today. I think thats about three weeks.

Normally it takes 4 weeks off i believe.

We will never catch up with Oz (currently about 12 weeks behind) if thats the case as we also take off 2 weeks for tennis and another week or so for Bank Holidays.

Its hard to believe that at the beginning of the century we were only a couple of weeks behind australia.

The BBC now seem to show neighbours on most Bank holidays, or they did last year, hopefully they will follow suit this year, so we can start catching up again.
