If it does go ahead, will this be the first time ever that Neighbours has been shown in Primetime, i personally think First Look Neighbours will do well, also has the possibillity of new fans watching who dont have the chance during daytime.

Didn't BBC Choice have a Neighbours Omnibus?

Why did they ever replace BBC Choice - even with today's schedule of BBC3, BBC Choice was far superior

Interesting. It's something I suggested to the BBC a year ago, would be a good thing if you ask me, may even gain a new auidence who can't see it at 5.35pm.

No i dont think they did, someone correct me if im wrong.

BBC Choice was choice, they use to have a variety of programming, and Two Pints was not shown at every vacancy avalible, was it?

One of the programmes i loved was Liquid News, with Christopher Price, shame he died. It seems once it became BBC Three, Liquid News went down hill

Neighbours could air on BBC Three in the near future.

The BBC is planning to screen new episodes of Australian soap Neighbours on BBC3 in a fresh bid to boost the digital channel.
Episodes of the soap currently air twice daily on BBC1 at 1.40pm and 5.35pm but under plans being looked at by the BBC3 controller, Julian Bellamy, new episodes would air first on the digital channel.

This could ruin lunchtimes. It could improve some evenings slightly though.

Some people over at fansites are wondering if the BBC will end up axing the lunchtime airing, i doubt it but you never know.

to be honest the lunchtime edition should go so that BBC1 can completely re-do its daytime schedule - far to reliant on antqiue shows, relaity shows etc - no magazine type or talk show type programmes on.

I would (I know I'm scheduling again!!!)

I wonder if this is a plan by the BBC to oust Neighbours off BBC1?
