Where is the link?
I think people prefer to keep it under wraps as we know what happens when these sorts of things are made public. I've PM'd you.
Regarding the credits, here's what I wrote on NeighboursFans.com:
As the credits now involve a Ten promo which the credits no longer scrolling and at the bottom, the UK version will be interesting and if the Beeb are determined to continue to show ECPs, hopefully they'll do an EastEnders etc. style credit sequence.
According to comments there (and from the bosses) a new theme tune arrangement is being worked on, possibly due for when the first episodes are filmed in the new 2006 production year (whenever that'll be). Hope the titles are just a stopgap.

Amazing isn't it? They have a couple of wonderful outdoor locations and sets which have had a great revamp over the past year and they choose to hire Lolly again to do the backgrounds of the titles while we get the 'cheesy grins filmed in a studio' shots.
In a year which looks like its going to have great, gritty story-lines we begin every episode with something that looks like it belongs on CBeebies

It's quite significantly longer in that video clip you linked to, why do the BBC cut it down? Apart from the "Thanks to" and the main sponsor slide at the end, I can't see that there is anything that they would want to cut - presumably it's just done for timing?

It was never technically the long theme. Just long to us here in the UK as the BBC clip the end credits.

Neighbours is made bu a company called Grundy who decide on the story lines and then send them to both Channel Ten, and the BBC, for approval. Channel Ten who commission the show in Australia have the right to change story lines, for example the commonwealth games in Manchester where to be used in a story line, but Ten stopped the story line as Channel Seven had the rights to the games. I think the BBC get the story lines out of courtesy.
As for the short theme, thats been discussed here loads and its a BBC policy to use certain length credits depending on how long a show is, eg Eastenders on a week night with short credits and the omnibus with long credits.
