Yes that is correct Brekkie.

He did indeed leave in 1991 (supposedly drowning) and returned as a member of the Salvation Army complete with some horrid blue-framed spectacles back in 1996.

There was also a faux leaving stage sometime last year, where he went off traveling and then came back as he was 'passing by'.

Awful.

You wait until the 'real' Libby returns and sings at

Zeke's funeral.

The dubbing is terrible!

Zeke isn't dead after all.

According to the synopsis for Episode 5632 on neighbours.com.au . . .

Zeke is alive! After Karl and Susan rescue him from Phil Andrew’s place Zeke is taken to hospital
to be assessed, however he doesn’t remember anything or anyone from his life before the rafting
accident. Will he regain his memory and accept his family back into his life?

Well, whoop-i-doo ... an amnesia related storyline! How original!

I was of course talking about last year - but was it really 1991 when he left originally? God, I can remember that - so that's making me feel rather old right now!

Brekkie,

he did not leave last year, he went part time, but late last year he decided to call it a day , thus this, his last current storyline

I actually met the actor in January, in Sydney, and talk abouot being a true gentleman - he is a great person.

To think not only did he star in neighbours but he also wrote for the show and for a period he was also a director of the show !

A great professional - I will miss him in the show - but knowing ex-neighbours starts, he could pop up in Emmerdale as a lost relation of Lily's!!!! Smile

Or launch a pop career!

Well, I wouldn't hold that against him.

Ahh yes, he came back as Ted. I missed that first time round, but luckily UK Gold was showing those episodes when I did my GCSE's in 2003, so I managed to see most of them, and Madge meeting "Ted" since his drowning.

Sorry to see him go permanently, but there's a great clip of him on YouTubeswearing, not that he's swearing, it's just the way he says it. Laughing

He became a guest character last year rather than a permanent one - however he still appears to be on the opening titles with the other regular cast.

Haha!! "Oh goodness sake sh*t and balls!" Laughing

The producers are harsh - looks like he got the same axe Alan Dale did a year later.

Neighbours UK on Twitter

Evening all. I've made a Twitter account that will update with RSS feed's from Five's Neighbours website.

It would be nice to inject a bit more excitement and pace by having contributions from fans like yourself.

PM if this interests you.

If you are Twitter, follow at http://twitter.com/neighboursuk and retweet to encourage more followers.

This will be for UK fans of Neighbours, so I don't think anything from Oz should be mentioned, unless of course Five publise it!

At least there was a pre-titles announcement this time, albeit a very short one

And a nice little joke at the end from the continuity announcer tonight.

"No wonder Libby doesn't want to be a Fitzgerald, she only became a Kennedy last night!" Laughing

I thank you. I do my best Smile
