Yeah, that's the one Jason. It was around long before Neighbours used it!

Actually, a library track they played extensively in the very early episodes (c 85-87) was J Hyde's 'My One and Only Love' - both the vocal and instrumental versions. It's from the De Wolfe library, but I haven't managed to track it down.

Long shot, but can anyone help I wonder?

I've not been following this thread lately entirely but here in NZ the credits are played in full on Fridays and every other days its 15seconds.

They probably have. As with the previous theme tune, there were many underscores and variations made originally, but only a few were ever heard. There may come a time when they need a full length vocal-free version for a special episode a la 20th anniversary credits.

Just like some episodes of Emmerdale or Corrie having their commercial break within the first 8 minutes or last 8 minutes of selected epiosdes.

If I am right, I believe that there is no set time as when a commercial should be shown in programmes.
