Television schedules released today show that each episode of Neighbours will have ten showings across Five and Five Life.

On Five, each episode will debut at 1.45pm, with a repeat at 5.30pm and in the early hours of the next day, at 5.10am. The 5.10am showing will have no ad break, but will be signed for the hearing impaired. There will also be an omnibus at 12.30pm on Saturdays.

On Five Life, the previous day's episode will be repeated at 9.00am, while that day's episode will be shown again at 7.00pm. There will also be an omnibus on Sundays. These three showings will be repeated, an hour later, on the Five Life +1 channel.

So let me get this straight, there will be no first showing on Five Life?

That's correct.

There's a new interview with Five's Managing Director of Content, Lisa Opie on the PB

Just going back to yesterday, I must say I really enjoyed the episode with the funny storyline of Valda wearing sexy lingerie! We didn't get to see her (thank God) but the looks on the faces of Toadie, Frazer, Harold and Lou were just priceless. I haven't laughed so much at Neighbours in a long time. It's nice to know they can still do the comedy as well as the serious stuff. Given the recent heavy storylines of Susan, Bridget, Declan it was a nice relief. That's one thing I'll miss when Ian Smith leaves; Harold and Lou provide much of the comedic element these days.

By the way, is anyone else wondering where No. 24 has gone? I'm sure we haven't seen the interior of Harold's house since Sky left months ago. Everything to do with Harold and Lou is being set in the General Store now.

Isn't Harold's house having a makeover - i.e. new sets for HD perhaps?

I think thats the case. Watching recent Aussie episodes, No.24 hasn't been seen since it returned in Australia.

Well Neighbours is already filmed in HD. Has been since July last year i think. Doubt Harolds house is getting a makeover just yet its not long been done.

Most sets have been made to look darker for HD filming. Nearly every set is either now grey or brown. I wouldn't be suprised if No.24 returned in one of those colours.

I'm sure the Kennedy's place will have another revamp before long, or another new front door.

Well its 7 showings really as I dont count the +1 channels airings as its the same channel just an hour later. And its not much more than Corrie get - 1 showing on ITV1 plus the omnibus, and 3 repeats I think it is on ITV2 and an omnibus.
