Well, I have just seen the plane crash episode from a different forum and was a fantastic episode it is....

Spoiler - highlight to read

You don't see the plane crash, just a fade to black

... they use classical music for the plane going down and the tension of everybody on board looks believeable even for Neighbours!

Anyone watching todays episode, was the background music used during Janelles Fantasy moments from 1980s Neighbours?

This was indeed incidental music from the 80's. I'm glad they used it, especially with all the anniversary stuff in the last week Laughing

I heard there was a real fire at the Neighbours studios a while ago now- is'nt that the real reason they wrote the storyline about Paul Robinson burning down the Lassiters complex etc?

I think it was due to asbestos being found in the old sets.

I think perhaps Lou/Paul's house was damaged in a fire, as it was off sereen for a long time.

Yes they probably had to rebuild Lou's set. It did look slightly larger last time I looked.

They did this yesterday as well whilst she was typing up her book. Great stuff. Certainly a flashback.

Today's episode broadcast in 4:3. Any reason for this?

I don't suppose anyone has a audio/video cap of that particular scene? I'd be interested to hear which track they used.

The programme is always delivered as 16:9 FHA, so I'd imagine it was probably just a widescreen switching error.
How were you watching it? ( DTT? Sky?)
