Neighbours

Since the previous Neighbours thread has gone the same way as the old Home and Away thread, and disappeared into
the unrepliable ether, I've decided to start a new thread. Discuss the latest storylines and developments, speculate
on future happenings, such as the forthcoming return of Ramsay Street legend, Joe Mangel.

What's your view on the recently unveiled new look for Lassiters? Is "Bishop and Carpenters General Store" a good
replacement for the Coffee Shop, even though to all intents and purposes, it's little more than a new Coffee Shop
that also sells newspapers and stamps? Should "Lou's Place" have been replaced with the "Scarlet Bar",
or would it have been better to bring back an ordinary "Waterhole" style pub.

What's with the new school uniform at Erinsborough High all of a sudden?

I don't watch regularly enough to know - just observed that one week the boys had white shirts and the girls had burgundy checked dresses, and the next, everything was bright blue!

It's the same design as before just a new colour. I think it concided with the new 2005 season and besdies those old uniforms looked manky!

Still it's all go on Neighbours at the mo with Joe Mangel to come back shortly. Even Kerry Bishop is back on at the mo, well the actress who played her anyway! Coming back soon for the 20th anniversary will be Doug Willis , Annalise Hartman and Philip Martin amongst others.

Speaking of Phil, anyone notice the book that the new chubby Timmins character is reading at the moment. The author is a certain Philippa Martinez which was the fictious name, Philip came up with when he wanted to turn to writing.

So I wasn't imagining things when I saw "Kerry Bishop" the other day - phew! I've not really watched the show for about 12 years, I occasionally see the last few mins before the news though - and I was convinced Kerry had been killed off. So who does she play now?!

She plays a new character called Gaby. Harold doesnt want to see the connection but Lou does and Paul nearly had a heart attack when he saw her in the coffee shop and he broke the news that she looked like Harold's dead daughter. Damn those duck hunters! She's only in it for a very short while though but may come back for another stint when Joe comes back based on rumours.

Many remember the actress who played Kerry. Things wouldn't be too good if her new charcther became a regular. Has there beem any other regulars in soap played guest charcthers after wards.

Neighbours seems to have bizarre story lines at the moment.
The Kerry Story line
The Erinsborough is about to be flooded.
And any story line involving Paul Robinson.

Wasn't Paul involved in a storyline in the 80's in which he wanted to bulldoze Ramsay Street in favour of a shopping complex?

You're signature baffles me. Why are you promoting a programme which isn't on and using the Channel 4 logo style as a background that was ditched in 1996?

Why not!

It's basically my own little tribute to one of my favourite American comedies (sad I know!) from the early 90's. Hence the reason for the 4 logo, the date and time refers to when the show was broadcast.
