Erm .. didn't this exact same storyline happen about 15 years ago??

Yep, the "Waterhole", as it was known then, blew up in c.1993, in the days of Brad Willis and Annalise Hartman - in fact, I think those two were trapped in the pub (or maybe Brad and Beth? Can't quite remember!). So, they're basically ripping off the work of previous story writers, thinking that nobody would remember that far back. It's a shame really, but there's only so much you can do in a soap. Most of the original writing nowadays is a bit tacky. I've been an avid Neighbours viewer for many years, and continue to watch just out of habit, not merit. If I'd never seen it before, I certainly wouldn't stick with it now.

Aww give them some credit, there *is* the mortal danger part, but there's also guarenteed to be problems with Steph and her "murdering" tendencies, with the whole Karl/Izzy/Darcy thing. Then there's the whodunnit with Paul/Luka/Gus NOT TO MENTION the impact Paul's return will have.

It will only be Harold and Lou (possibly the Kennedy's) that remember Paul Robinson won't it?

Although technically Harold lost his memory since his 'disappearing act'.

Thinking about it, yeah I think you're right. Not sure about the Kennedy's though, as didn't doug and his family leave after Paul had gone? And I don't think Toddie was there then, but he could be another possibility.

Its a shame he won't be bringing those Blakeney twins back with him Razz

I suppose what I remember most about Paul Robinson storylines is when Gail went missing and Henry Mitchell (Madge's son) painted his office in graffiti. Laughing

You're right about the Kennedys, Karl didn't get along with him back in the day.

Yes but surely Paul's reaction to when they meet today should be "I thought you were washed away" and not, Hello Harold!

New opening titles today as it is the beginning of the 2005 season. Not sure about the closing titles though, but they should change because the last still wouldn't have the same lassiters shot now, would it?

It is a shame the Beeb squashed and V/O'd the credits Rolling Eyes Would have been nice just to see the full theme.

Yes, that was highly irritating. It was only to advertise Comic Relief tonight which they'd trailed in the junction before Neighbours actually began! Idiots.

They actually lied and told me that they always think carefully about which episodes they squash the credits and V/O. That was obviously a load of bull as they did it yesterday on both episodes! The most dramatic episode in Neighbours 20 year history ruined right at the end!

It's our BBC, not the BBC's BBC! Sooner they realise that, the better! Evil or Very Mad

Massive spoiler from my mate in Oz! Only highlight if you want to know...

According to my friend, Karl Kennedy is to die next week in Australia. After being pushed to breaking point by Izi, he dies by himself on a country road from a heart attack. This should be on our screens sometime in June.
