Neighbours

Two items of note from today's show :-

The mention of the word "crap" twice in the show. Me hasn't got anything against the word just seems weird hearing it in Neighbours and besides, I've only got use to them saying the word "spunk" lol

The final scene involving the fight seemed to pause twice as the fight was progressing. Whether this was another dodgy cut again or just the way Neighbours wanting to depict the scene in question.

I don't think it was a dodgy cut. Just a bad transmission. Another foible of the dodgy automation system they use I suppose.

At first I thought it was an error, but I don't actually think it was. Neighbours has used a few more little effects like that lately, like when Connor jumped on Stuart for his briefcase last week.

What was more annoying was the way they currently insist on playing an ad for Bitesize over the credits. Usually I don't mind these ECPs but this one has music - really loud and unneccesary music, through which you can still hear the Neighbours theme tune! It creates a horrible sound and I really don't know what on earth the person who instigated this was thinking!!

I think there must be a problem with the BBC's tape. I saw the episode when I was in Australia and it didn't freeze like it did on the BBC. Does anyone know what might have caused it? It surely can't be an edit.

Anyone watching today's episode notice when Paul is watching the 'Erinsborough Time Capsule' tape, there is a scene in Harold's house and supposedly the camcorder falls off the table exposing the studio lighting and scenery!

Looks like Paul Robinson is sticking on the show a while longer. He is set to appear in the openning credits in Australia soon...so that´s always a good sign!

Well im over here in New Zealand and we are 9 days behind australia. All I want to say is how much Neighbours has turned more into to a comedy aswell.. Because over the past few days of watching there hasnt been a minute when something funny has happend! But I now find I more enjoyable to watch then before.

lol that's not fair we are like 2 months behind now? and then we will be again for May day.

Saw a bit of Neighbours today with Paul Robinson perving over a tape, he seems to be turning into the sort of character James Spader would play. Must say that I think that he was one of the all time great Neighbours characters, when he turned bad the show went to another level!

Where abouts is Gino's salon based? I thought it was in the Lassiters complex, and we all know what happened to that. So if it was there how did it manage to get an apperance in yesterdays show?

Yes the salon is in Lassiters. This week we found out that both the hotel and the salon actually survived. It is amazing how no one seemed to notice beforehand.
