What the hell happened to Jessie Wallace? What was the urgency in going to a break? I heard Sir Trev speaking to "Clive" before he came into shot. Perhaps a problem?

i woudnt be surprised if the lifetime award went to David Jason. But the I'm not sure if he hasn't already had it....I think James Nesbitt has had the best speech so far. And that was terrible they way Trever cut Jessie off, I agree. She'd said about 2 words!

What a fix. I've just switched off in disgust after watching GMTV beat Antiques Roadshow, A Life Of Grime and BARGAIN HUNT

I must say, the set they've come up with is really quite excellent! I love big, glitzy live programmes like this. Shame there aren't more of these. Although Trevor is quite awful as the presenter! How did GMTV get 'most entertaining factual programme' - it's a channel isn't it?

I think reality award will go to Wife Swap if it's listed. I hope Jamie Oliver doesn't get it. It's because of people like him that a big new Sainsbury's was built on a field near me.

Yes but thats cos all my fave progs are on ITV (and C4 too) like Corrie, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, Big Brother, Pop Idol etc. I dont like the BBC but anyone winning, even a BBC person is better than EE


YAY GMTV have won an award, as Penny Smith just said they really deserve it! And it was great to see the lovely Sally Lyndsay and Katy Carmichael present that award!

Why is it a fix ? They got the most votes, can't argue with that or any of the other results to be honest. YAY, Kim & Aggie are on.

Trevor isn't awful as such, I think he carries the right gravitas for the event, especially in announcinng the names. he should stay off the gags though, how cringeworthy!

Anyway, I tink its a cheek GMTV are 'a channel'. 3 hours of a programme from the same set doesn't really feel like a channel to me.

Im a Celeb has won the Best Reality TV Award Another award for Ant and Dec although they didnt go up to the stage this time!


Whataday I dont care if GMTV promoted it - you would do the same if you were in their position, they didnt hold a gun to people's heads and tell them to vote, everyone has the choice of who to pick.

Not to mention her face dropping through my letterbox 45 weeks of the year, but that's another story

Anyway, good to see lesser GMTV stars like Kate and Andrew going up for that award, although what a duff clip they showed. GMTV is a channel, but its really 'GMTV Today' that won, they played the today theme.

Is there less awards this year or have the clips always been this long, as it's always been scheduled for a 2 hour slot?

See Ant and Dec didn't go up for that one, so they arn't hogging the limelight at all!

I see Shane Ritchie IS up for best actor... I don't hate Eastenders, but Shane Ritchie is NOT a good actor. He simply can't win!

Kim & Aggie really are the best aren't they? Kim looked so glam.

re Trevor McDonald - I'm not exactly sure an event such as this needs any gravitas.

Perhaps being able to deal with drunk female heckling from the back would be more of an advantage.
