I thought that tribute to Trevor was quite moving actually. Did i actually see a tear in the man's eye?

There we go... CT makes an appearance after all..

Just one question - on the clip of Trevor McDonut reporting on the death of Diana - it had him sitting in the "ITV News" studio with all the lights out - They didn't have that studio that early did they ('97)?

Why has Tony Blair got a poppy on? Wasn't remembrance day ages ago!
At least that explained why he was presenting it. Oooh and I see that the NTA don't have ITV generic credits!

I think you'll find it's November the 11th (Eleventh day of the 11th month and all that)

Yeah, last November. Laughing

Bit of a risk having Tony Blair on. He's hardly Mr Popular at the moment!

Whoops - bit of an abrupt end there... someone hit the button too early I think - chopped the end of the titles off!

I thought it was in March! Embarassed They're forever asking us to raise money for soldiers which died in the war. All seems a little bit... odd.

I won't be watching the ITV2 special. It'll just be loads of Eastenders people.

I'm glad that nobody shouted out abuse at Tony Blaire though. Well behaved celebs Very Happy

When they said Tony Blair, I was expecting it to be Rory Bremner or a lookalike. Laughing

If anyone deserved some kind or recognition, Trevor did really deserve the award, he has done such a lot in his lifetime.

Tony Blair giving an award to an autocue! I've seen everything now.

That is very very true. Very well deserved. Chris Tarrant was a bit close to barging in on the limelight though. Do you reckon Trev knew he was going to win?

Did you hear people shouting "STOP THE WAR" in the background when Blair was on!!
