well the voters were readers of the sun and heat magazine so that's a wide and varied section of the british public isn't it Rolling Eyes

what about daily mail and radio times readers?

they should have voting forms in all the papers and tv mags

that way there would not be such a narrow bias

Here Here. Its the same with the soap awards, the voting forms are in the Sun TV Mag and Whats on TV, both of which have EE covers an average of 4 weeks out of 5 throughout the year.

Ok,So in 2004 when Corrie won (That was an important award) i'm guessing you could vote in such papers as the daily mail then? Rolling Eyes

Maybe the bbc gets all its employees and their families to vote for eastenders,
EE compared to Corrie and even Emmerdale is is far less superior.

No!No!No! Emmerdale and Corrie are the most poorly acted, unrealistic shows on earth. They have a low budget, and when I watch them my snobby instinct kicks in.

Well Corrie must be good if it can manage to still win some years when the voting is that biased towards EE Smile

And Corrie won a NTA for Most Popular Soap in 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2004 and a British Soap Award for Best Soap in 1999, 2003 and 2005 as well as a BAFTA 3 years running when at least one year EE didnt even get a nomination.
