Most of the clips shown were very recent. The Neighbours clip of Karl and Izzy aired today!

it's not an ITV event. It's made by an indie that just happens to be shown on ITV, it's hardly like him appearing on The X Factor

It's sponsored by ITV, but it's also sponsored by The Sun, and it's not The Sun's is it? Confused

Hollyoaks should have won Best Serial Drama as well. Those two episodes with the fire was some of the best television I've had the pleasure of watching this year.

Based on the clips they showed for Most Popular Soap, the show that won looked the most boring. Even Emmerdale looked more exciting. Rolling Eyes

Indeed, the clip they used was a showdown in the pub. Doesn't that happen in all soaps at least once a week

The attendance of celebs was quite poor, where was Noel Edmonds? where was Paul O'Grady? At least Little Ant & Dec turned up!

Well I dont watch the programme but if thats the best scene they have had all year then how the hell did they win?

Based on the clips of the soaps shown Hollyoaks should have won!

Why didnt Litttle Ant and Dec collect the award instead of Phil and Fern? Mind you the letter they read out was funny, wish it had been Brad Pitt.

I believe ITV do have rights in the NTA's, as Indigo are a very small indie and so receive a lot of support from the network in that respect.

But anyway, Paul O'Grady post - just a joke. Joke. J-O-K-E. No need to delve into politics.

If Little Ant and Dec had gone up all they would have been able to say would have been "Let's get Jiggy". They're only allowed 3 words per show now! Laughing

The NTA awards are hardly the BAFTA's. If I was famous, you know really famous, as in spent years building my trade to get somewhere and then noticed that a talentless ugly twonk like Nikki Grahame gets an award just for throwing mind numbingly fecking annoying tantrums, I don't think I'd bother turning up either.
