Leave Stephen Fry to the BAFTAs - I've nothing against Dermot and he's one of the best around at keeping a show ticking over quite effortlessly. I'd be careful what you wish for too as the obvious other choice on ITV's books at fronting award shows is Jonaathan Ross.

If Vernon Kay ever took over as host, I just wouldn't bother watching.

Mind you, this is the channel that thinks Keith Lemon would (reportedly) be a brilliant replacement for David Frost.. so...

Well it's not as if Keith Lemon is going to hosting a new version of Breakfast with Frost, it's only a trivial gameshow format. I hardly think the ITV 2 audience would appreciate Frost.
