... in Strange David's opinion.

I still don't understand why my post with the exact same title was closed, especially when I had asked a specific question about the time delay for the live broadcast, someone rightly mentioned mine was posted two minutes earlier than this OP and could easily have been merged, unsure why this wasn't the case, and now my question has bitten the dust because of this, unless someone adds something about it here.

And Westy2 asked what I meant by time delay, and now I can't reply to his post as it's closed. Mad

The fact that the "Best Soap" award is considered the biggest most important award of the night tells you everything you need to know about these awards.

What did he do, build an RSJ frame on stage or something ?

I still don't understand *snip*

And what's stopping you repeating your question here, exactly?

I used to enjoy this show, when it had Sir Trevor leading the proceedings and the catchy little theme tune like the one below

All a bit too shouty and over the top with Dermot and the O2, although I guess it sums up how TV has changed in general really!

That's how it should be done. These new NTAs lack any dignity or authority, and having Dermot O'Dreary introduce an X Factor act on stage is just taking the p*ss.

Whilst on the subject, did anybody watching in HD keep losing sound, or was that just me?

No but on my tv the itv 1 hd feed had a sound delay sound I had to watch the thing on itv 1 sd which was quite irritating.

It was a joke, refering to the two threads and when they were created.

Absolutely fantastic. Nearly bought a tear to my eye thinking about how good TV was back around 15 years ago!

No need to, you have already spoken about it privately. Laughing
