This morning image came up on the screen before it was announced....

I think the logos for all the nominations came up on the screen in the o2 but we wouldn't normally see them on TV because we would be watching the VTs. That funny looking woman from Dragon's Den messed it up by reading the nominations out really slowly and not in sync with the graphics for some reason. They cut back to the studio because the VT had finished but she was still reading and the This Morning logo was the one we saw left on the screen because it happened to be the last nomination.

I think the problem was she thought there would be a VT with clips and it was changed to just the logos, presumably for timing reasons. Somewhere along the way she clearly wasn't informed

IMHO the NTA's are not worth a jot as they are voted by the public , and we know what kind of travesty that causes...

The public should not be allowed to vote at award ceremonies... leave it to the professionals.

Hugh Dennis should have let the big one from Outnumbered give the speech rather than do it himself. He doesn't want to be typecast as a child for the rest of his career. It was the perfect opportunity for him to start effing and jeffing on live television and really make a name for himself on the day before his 16th birthday. I bet The Inbetweeners would have respected him for it.

I did enjoy Bruce Forsyth's funny microphone skit just now.

Gary Barlow? Outstanding contribution to Television ? Ok.

They really do themselves no favours - it took Bruce Forsyth decades to win that one. Personally wouldn't give Jonathan Ross an award too, but at least he's been in TV 25 years or so.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't. He's made an outstanding contribution to television.

Best serial drama: Winner: Coronation Street

This just proves that some of the public are much smarter.....

Ant and Dec have NEVER been able to sing well.
And yet they still managed three albums...

I used to enjoy this show, when it had Sir Trevor leading the proceedings and the catchy little theme tune like the one below

All a bit too shouty and over the top with Dermot and the O2, although I guess it sums up how TV has changed in general really!
