The National Television Awards 2012

This is quite good. I enjoyed Bruce Forsyth and Ant and Dec doing their comedy/musical act at the start. It could have gone on for much longer and name checked more programmes though.

So far, the nominations have shown the programmes title sequence rather than having a caption with the name of the programme. That is a nice idea, I don't know if it will work for all programmes though.

No sarcasm used or implied. What did you find cringe-worthy about it? I thought it was quite clever.

It seemed like Brucie forgot his lines when he was on his own? He just sang the normal "let their be love" song for the first verse, then again for the second but randomly mentioned Michael Buble and a bacon butty. Either that or they should have made it more different. It was all a bit....odd

You do know that Ant and Dec are just a rebranded PJ and Duncan, don't you? Lets get Ready to Rumble? Forsyth has sung with the likes of Sammy Davis Jr, Karen Carpenter, Shirley Bassey and Anton du Beke. I hardly think he would achive all that if he couldn't sing.

Thanks for that David, but yes I did realise all that.

Maybe I should have made myself clearer, at 83, Bruce Forsyth can only sing BADLY. Ant and Dec have NEVER been able to sing well.
