Well we all know that the TV Quick / Whats On TV readers go in for these votes don't we Jez, the magazines with Alfie Moon on the cover week in, week out.

They should give Radio Times a try. A listings magazine which recognises there's more to TV than soap...

As for EastEnders winning, all I can say is - FIX!

Ugh - I hate the Radio Times, it's so BBC biased it is unbelievable..

And how you can possibly say it is fixed is beyond me - first of all it is voted for by the public, second of all Coronation Street has descended into a pile of **** with too much comedy and stupid storylines - the Cilla/Les marriage is a farce for a start.

If any serial drama deserved to win the award in that group it was Hollyoaks - and I don't even watch it that often.

Correction: Cilla/Les are a farce, never mind the marriage! Eastenders deserved to win
Also, I personally think that Gordon Ramsay should have been TV Expert.

Whereas TV Times seems to have forgotten its ITV roots. It's never been the same since Bridget Rowe was editor around 1990.

Am really glad that Paul O Grady got best day time show and best presenter. ITV 1 wouldn't know what to do without him now.

He didn't get best presenter but he should have done. When you watch him and then watch Ant & Dec they just sren't as good as him. Paul is naturally witty and doesn't need a team of writers to script his ad-libs.
