National Television Awards 2001

Titles say it all really.
Who will win and what.
Will the BBC get more awards than ITV?

That is going to be the main battle of the awards - I hope WWTBAM? wins - WL is good, but growing a little tiresome.

We'll just have to wait and see - and it'll be interesting to hear Tarrant's/Robinson's speech afterwards and the scowls from the loser.

I hope The Weakest Link beats that now boring Millionaire! This is of course my personal opinion:)

Also is it broadcase live? As it's on pretty late!

I wouldn't call 8pm 'late', and The NTV Awards are one of the few awards ceremonies that are actually live - they get away with it as there are fewer awards that most.

Sorry it's on at 10.30pm up here in Scotland because of the football! I didn't realise that was the reason!

Of course its live remember Judy last year! I think the BBC in general will get more than ITV, well hope they do, but of course they have got twice the number of channels (Both Analogue and Digital [if you don't count News 24] !!!). Both Millionaire and WL are getting tiresome. Who's got what so far, i've only just got in, Bad Girls got Drama?

I think the Weakest Link may get it this year, as it is newer and Millionaire has won the last twice.

Both shows are starting to look tired.

I thought the National Television Awards was held lastnight on (Mon 22nd) and shown 24 hours later (Tue 23rd)?

YES! I see David Jason and Ricky Tomlinson both got an award.

And Big Brother (the programme of course : ) got an award! Long live Big Brother!

Keep me posted with who gets awards, as I can't see it until 10.30pm because of the football!

What I wan't to know is, is Big Brother a Factual programme?

Seems a funny category to me!
