Did anyone manage to see this last night? Not suprising that it was produced by BBC Scotland the editing was absouletly waffle and thats putting it polietly!
It was so shambolic because Tess Daily had to do so many pick ups at the end of each recording...
It looked so much like TVC1! Well you live and learn.
Do you think the show would be better with a better host than Tess Daly or is it just too rubbish to be saved?
The format was good, but the show comes across as being lame on TV 'cos the audience was so small, and the atmosphere was lacking....
Tess Daily as a host on her own wasnt a great choice....I would have thought there were better presenters available. Then again, I'm not a fan of hugely touchy feely presenters.....
Oh, and RE: The carousel in the show, on the show we watched getting recorded we had to wait over a minute for a case to come round....and the audience got kinda told off for laughing too much at the awkwardness.

That was the most noticeable thing, there was no atmosphere in that studio. Compare it to studio 1 at the old LWT building (I hate saying The London Studios), the atmosphere is absolutely electric in there for shows such as Saturday Night Takeaway, Game For A Laugh etc.

...If you keep your eyes peeled you will also see some people in the audience who were at recordings for every show, as BBC staff in the foyer were handing out "boarding passes" for the next few shows after recordings were done.

you mean this show is not live? and they just jump to Bradly who is live!

there
just jump to Bradly who is live!
Please tell me you're being tongue-in-cheek there?
Pretty much every gameshow-wrapped-around-the-lottery-draw that there's ever been, has been a pre-recorded gameshow, with the live lottery draw shoehorned in on the night of broadcast.
Surely you're not so naive that you thought any of these lottery gameshows over the years were actually live?
(PS: It should be
they
, not
there
, in that context! )
